- Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.6.0 or higher.

Installation

Make sure Java is installed

If not, download the latest Java Runtime Environment (JRE) from http://java.com and install it on your PC.

Download the installer to your PC

Cell Illustrator 5.0 Installer
Cell Illustrator 5.0 Installer (mirror)

Install Cell Illustrator Desktop 5.0

Run the installer by double-clicking it in a file browser.
Alternatively, open the console window and execute the command: java -jar ci-setup-5.0.jar
Follow the instructions on the screen

Get your license key and run Cell Illustrator

You will need a license key to run Cell Illustrator.
The various CI editions are described in Product Lineup.
The limited version - Cell Illustrator Player - is available free of charge and can be started without license.
